Christian Wilderness Experience

 I'm claiming this

I'm standing here for a while. I also thought of my AZ friends.

Act 17:26 From one human being he created all races of people and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live.
Act 17:27 He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us;
Prayer:
I am so wandering in a strange dry place. This earth is certainly not my home. I'm not at home here. You Oh God are my home, my dwelling.
Amen

 Wild Ride

I don't know where this is all heading. I ask that God reveal Himself to me. I have to start with honesty. Now I'm peeling my life back trying to have it make sense. I see a winding road that has lead into this present wilderness. Now, I know to some that seems wrong. Well, if God let John the Baptist have some wilderness experience, I am not above that. But one thing I'm learning is that God is more real to me now than ever before. So, I guess this trial isn't as bad as I think. If things are as bleak as the economists say - I'm only a trailblazer anyway.

 So much water

So, you will build a boat to rise on water while the world perishes, that seems crazy.

So, you will part the water to leave bondage, that seems weird.

So, you will speak to the Rock to get water, that seems perverse.

So, you will travel over water only to thrown overboard and be swallowed by a fish, it gets insane.

So, you John will baptize the Son of God in water, it makes sense.

So, your first miracle is to turn water into wine, It fits.

So, you tell mankind unless he's born of the water and the Spirit he can not inherit the Kingdom, hard truth.

So, you walk on water and show Peter how its done, getting clearer.

So, you tell a troubled women she can drink eternal water, now it dawns on me.

So, when they pierce your heart, water flows, I was blind but now I see.

So, in the end the river of the water of life flows from the throne of God, we see perfectly.

 Found a likeminded book

My business brought me to Phoenix this week. I found a great book "Break Through" by Tommy Walker at a bargain table at a Christian bookstore in downtown Mesa. Anyway I read it and it answered a lot of questions I've been struggling with and dealing with in this blog. It is nice to know that. Things seem cleaner out here than Texas.

 Casting cares

In the latest test my wife lost her job today. It was our main income. There goes our health insurance. We're still not sure of my son's car situation. He can't prove it was stolen, so he may be at risk. My mom had to be hospitalized again. The nursing home isn't doing it's job apparently. So I thank all those who are praying for me. I have to cast all my care on Him because He cares for me

1Peter 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
